Activating International Service In Your Club
International Service is about building friendships and partnerships across borders to increase Rotary's impact in our communities.
During this Rotary year, my committee will focus on helping clubs develop projects that attract international partners, strengthening Global Grant readiness, and expanding opportunities for collaboration with Rotary clubs and districts around the world.
A key initiative will be the launch of the District 7030 Virtual Project Fair, which will showcase club projects to potential international partners and donors. We want every club with a worthwhile community project to have the opportunity to present it to a global Rotary audience.
Throughout the year, I'll also be sharing information and opportunities relating to international partnerships, Global Grants, Intercountry Committees, Rotary Fellowships, and other avenues that can help clubs extend their reach beyond District 7030.
I look forward to working with clubs across our District and encourage you to contact me if your club has a project that could benefit from an international partnership, or if you'd simply like to learn more about the opportunities available through Rotary International.
Priority Goal for August 2026
Identify potential international service projects within your club.
Each club is invited to submit a brief outline of one or more community projects that could benefit from an international partnership or Global Grant.
At this stage, we are simply looking for the following:
- Project title
- A brief description of the community need
- An estimated project cost (if known)
This preliminary information will help the District identify opportunities for international collaboration and prepare clubs for participation in the District 7030 Virtual Project Fair.
Deadline: 31 August 2026
