As part of Community Economic Development Month and in recognition of World Polio Day, the Rotaract Club of Tobago, through the club’s International Service Committee hosted its Sip, Paint, Donate fundraiser in support of The Rotary Foundation’s PolioPlus Fund.

Held at Breezes Bar, Tobago, the event brought together Rotaractors, friends, and supporters for an evening where creativity met purpose. Participants were guided by a local artist from Chromatic TT, to create their own canvas paintings while enjoying refreshments, laughter, and fellowship, all while contributing to Rotary’s global mission to eradicate polio.

The initiative was designed not only to raise funds but also to increase awareness about the importance of ending polio worldwide. Every registration and contribution helped support the PolioPlus Fund, reinforcing Rotary’s commitment to ensuring that future generations live in a polio-free world. The fundraiser extended beyond the painting experience through the generous support of local sponsors, who donated an array of prizes that were auctioned throughout the evening. As a result, the club was able to donate over USD $250.00 to the PolioPlus Fund.

The lively auction not only added excitement to the event but also significantly increased the funds raised for the PolioPlus Fund, demonstrating the power of community collaboration in advancing a global cause.

The evening concluded with participants proudly displaying their artwork, celebrating not only their creativity but also their role in advancing a global cause. Through fellowship, service, and collaboration, the Rotaract Club of Tobago once again demonstrated that local action can contribute to lasting international impact.
