EnviroClub Awards
Overview
In keeping with District 7030 focus on environmental sustainability, District Governor Debbie Roopchand and the Environmental Sustainability Committee encourage all Rotary, Rotaract and Interact clubs to apply for an EnviroClub Recognitation.
The EnviroClub Recognition programme is a progressive, criteria-based system, where a club first applies for a Bronze recognition, before progressing to Silver and finally Gold. It allows for clubs to demonstrate their commitment to caring for the environment through their activities, it can be used in the marketing of a club, increased engagement of current members, and enhanced appeal to prospective members. The programme is managed by the District Committee – applications are submitted to the Chair who reviews the submission with the rest of the Committee, and forwards to the District Governor for final sign-off. Qualifying Clubs will receive their recognition at the District Conference.
