The service partnership between Rotary International and the US Peace Corps is the focus of the third annual virtual, week-long Rotary-Peace Corps Week from 18-22 September 2023. Partnering for Peace (PFP), a group of Rotary members and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, is hosting the week. Rotary and Rotaract members, Rotary Peace Fellows, and the Rotary community are invited to join and learn about how the partnership can support your peacebuilding and service projects.

The year’s theme is Celebrating Our Connections and will start on Monday, 18 September at 17:30-19:00 EDT with a panel webinar, Peace through Service, Action, and Diversity, which includes:

  • Jody Olsen, Former Peace Corps Director
  • Pat Merryweather-Arges, 2023-2024 Rotary International Vice President

The week’s other events include:

  • How to Make the Rotary-Peace Corps Connection Work (Webinar | 20:00-21:00 EDT)
  • Connecting in-country Rotary Clubs and Peace Corps Posts (Panel | 09:00-10:30 EDT)
  • Successful Examples of Joint Rotary Peace Corps Projects (Panel | 14:00-15:15 EDT)
