In late August, a generous donation of 420 hampers was provided by PriceSmart to the Rotary clubs of South Trinidad. Targeted for distribution among those in particular need as a result of the effects of COVID-19, the initiative was spearheaded by Patricia Woods of the Price Philanthropies Foundation (formerly Price Family Charitable Fund) - a private nonprofit foundation established by the founders of PriceSmart. Also a Rotarian, Patricia emphasized that this donation is part of PriceSmart’s initiative to assist countries within the Caribbean during this challenging time and complimented a previous donation of hampers made earlier by PriceSmart to the Rotary clubs of Central Trinidad.
