On 15th October 2022, the Rotaract Club of Atlanta Metro hosted an event of an international scale!
An urgent report "The Future of Humanity" was presented exclusively for members of the Rotary family as a crucial step towards finding a solution we all need.
This information is important not just for everyone as socially responsible persons and the event's program was designed with the aim to present the report, discuss it, and address additional questions to the speakers.
The main topics covered included:
- Analytical forecast of intensifying climate disasters for the next 10 years. In particular, factors that are unknown to the public today.
- Impact of climate challenges on geopolitics and the global business environment. A forecast of the development of events.
- Solution to the global climate and economic crises.
Speakers included:
- Chief Guest: Barry Rassin - President of Rotary International for 2018-2019. A Rotarian since 1980, Rassin has served Rotary as director and is vice chair of The Rotary Foundation Board of Trustees. He was an RI training leader and the aide to 2015-2016 RI President K.R. Ravindran.
- Dr. Ichak Kalderon Adizes - global business consultant, founder and CEO of the Adizes Institute, one of the top ten consulting firms in the world. He consults the U.S. prime ministers and members of the Cabinet of Ministers of various countries, and manages the Adizes Program for a wide range of companies: from start-ups to the Fortune 100 list of companies.
- Dr. Seema Negi - Vice President of the Rotary Club of Mumbai West Coast and a Social Ambassador for Indian Development Foundation, awardee of the Nation Builder Award from Rotary.
- Elizaveta Khromova, MSc - Geologist and geophysicist. Geophysicist of the seismic department in Schlumberger, Russia. Head of Information and Analytical Department of Climate Change of Creative Society Project. Keynote speaker at dozens of professional international conferences.
- Dr. John Ahn, MBA - Scientist, Entrepreneurship and Business Development Lead. Expert on economical evaluation, new technologies development and commercialization in energy, chemical processes and life sciences.
