For several decades, the Rotary Club of Saint Lucia has provided a Christmas lunch to the less fortunate and indigent of the island, including those living in shelters and often under homeless circumstances. Traditionally held on the day after New Year’s, this example of meaningful and relevant community service serves as a shining example to the rest of the District.

Seeing an equivalent and longer term need for clothing among those in need, club members have now combined the luncheon with a donation of several clothing items, where Rotarians and friends of Rotary collect, sort and distribute a wide assortment of used, but perfectly good, clothes.

The lunch is always catered and served by the members of RC Saint Lucia who continually demonstrate great fellowship and service.

Over the past few years, because of the very visible and growing need, as well as, due largely to the spirit of the club and its members, the lunch now occurs four times a year and enjoys excellent support and participation by members.
