It was the progressive vision of President Harri Narinesingh of the Rotary Club of Maracas/St. Joseph to host a panel of experts from the University of Trinidad and Tobago to enlighten Rotarians, Rotaracters and interacters on the incredible , affordable opportunities and strategic curriculum offered at the University.
At the club’s meeting on January 19th 2015 , in observance of vocational services month , the President of UTT, Professor Dyer Narinesingh along with Senior Vice President and Provost, Dr. Fazal Ali and Recruitment manager, Dr.Joseph Jacob enlightened the audience of Rotarians, Rotaracters, Interacters and visiting club members from the East cluster on the immense possibilities for diversifying the economy through vocations that foster entrepreneurial skills , creative thinking and “hands-on” experience.
The message was loud and clear…Knowledge is the new wealth of a country…not fossil fuels.
The entire concept was quite intriguing and triggered many stimulating discussions through questions from the audience.
Bannerettes and Rotary theme pins “Be a gift to the world” were presented to the UTT team as a token of appreciation for their time and dedication to vocational services.
