2021/2022 Zone 34 Public Image Citation For Clubs
The Zone 34 Public Image team has so much to share to help make your club's year AMAZING! The team is looking forward to working with clubs this 2021-2022 Rotary year as we demonstrate to the world that we are all People of Action!
Similar to last year, the Zone 34 Public Image Citation is not going to be a flurry of activity at the beginning of the year and a mad dash to the finish line. Instead, it is going to be a steady report of your club’s progress where each monthly task completed earns you and your club a recognition badge.
Clubs and members from Rotary and Rotaract clubs across Zone 34 were encouraged to register and attend the first webinar for 2021-2022 year – Meet the Zone 34 Public Image Team – on Monday 26th July. This session provided an introduction and overview of some public image basics and the 2021-2022 Zone 34 Public Image Citation, as well as, provided an opportunity to meet the members of the Zone 34 PI Team and ask any questions about the citation and tasks.
Is your club up-to-date and caught up with the Zone 34 PI monthly tasks for 2021-2022?
Club Public Image Chairs can now access and satisfy the first three tasks for the 2021-22 Zone 34 Public Image Citation.
You can complete each task in the month it is due, or do all three at once as part of your public image planning for the year.

Rotary and Rotaract clubs throughout Zone 34 are already doing a great job in creating a positive Public Image in their communities. The Public Image Citation serves the purpose of recognizing these clubs for their efforts. This form assists you in creating a Public Image Plan for your Club.. The August task entails having a plan for the duration of the Rotary year as far as your club's public image. For assistance in completing any portion of the plan, please contact the District 7030 Communications and PI Team at admin@rotarydistrict7030.org
September 2021 - Create a Content Calendar for your club

This form is the Public Image Content Calendar Plan for your club for this Rotary year. It will help you plan the content for each month based on your club activities and the Rotary monthly themes and special observances. This is a required activity for the Zone 34 Public Image Citation. The September task for the Zone 34 Public Image Citation will be the completion of a Content Calendar (sometimes referred to as an editorial calendar). This is a great tool to plan your work for the year. In the Public Image Chair Boot Camp, Marshall Butler and Kelsey Mitchell discussed creating a content calendar. Watch the video below, then feel free to create your own content calendar for your club.
October, November, December...In future months, your club will be asked to submit samples of what it did that month. For example, Social media posts to promote World Polio Day in October; in November, website updates or blog posts sharing how the Rotary Foundation makes a difference in communities around the world as we celebrate Foundation Month; later this year we will also have a video contest.
