Effective public image strategies can help communities understand what Rotary does and how we’re making a difference. Your committee promotes Rotary to the public and fosters understanding, appreciation, and support for our programs. It also helps Rotarians understand that effective external publicity, favorable public relations, and a positive image will help Rotary further its mission. In particular, you: - Contact the media with stories of projects and events in the district, and share these stories through social media. - Promote the End Polio Now campaign, our areas of focus, grant successes, and alumni activities. - Encourage clubs to make public relations outreach a priority. - Plan and conduct a Vibrant Club Workshop in consultation with the governor and district trainer, as well as the district membership and Rotary Foundation chairs.
