This is our same truth in Rotary, where we accomplish the impossible every day through the dedication and drive of our membership. As a past Rotaractor and relatively new Rotarian, what first attracted me to the Rotary family was the infectious way in which our organization accomplished so much for others while having fun! This fellowship was definitely the hook that brought me into Rotaract but it was our organization’s commitment to community service which anchored my position here for the last 12 years and counting.
I have grown to learn that one of the most powerful Rotary membership tools is already in our possession and is found in the telling of our own story! What better way is there to invite someone new to our organization than by sharing with them your personal experience of the great works of our organization, the unforgettable ‘limes’ and the life changing, impactful moments gained through serving others?
To me, your Rotary experience is to be enjoyed every day and used to help grow our membership so that we deepen our connection with each other, our members and our Clubs around the World!

C'est la même vérité au Rotary, où nous accomplissons chaque jour l'impossible grâce au dévouement et au dynamisme de nos membres.
En tant qu’ancien Rotaractien et nouveau Rotarien, ce qui m’a tout d’abord attiré dans la famille du Rotary, c’est cette attitude contagieuse qu’à notre organisation d’accomplir tant de choses pour les autres tout en s’amusant ! Cette camaraderie a réellement été l’appat qui m’a fait entrer au Rotaract, mais c’est l’engagement de notre organisation au service du public qui m’y a ancré pour les 12 dernières années.
J'ai appris que l'un des outils les plus puissants pour l'effectif du Rotary est déjà en notre possession et se trouve dans le récit de notre propre histoire ! Quelle meilleure façon d'inviter quelqu'un de nouveau dans notre organisation qu'en partageant avec lui/elle notre expérience personnelle des grandes œuvres de notre organisation, des " citrons verts (??) " inoubliables et des moments qui ont changé notre vie et qui ont eu un impact en servant les autres ?
Pour moi, l’expérience rotarienne doit être appréciée tous les jours et utilisée pour aider à accroître notre effectif afin d'approfondir nos liens les uns avec les autres, nos membres et nos clubs dans le monde entier !
