In difficult times like these, it’s impossible to avoid feeling heartbroken over the devastation and loss of life caused by war and destruction.
Rotary always stands against harming and displacing civilian populations and using armed aggression instead of pursuing peaceful solutions. We advocate for the observance and respect of international law. We believe in strong action to defend and promote peace, even in the darkest of times.
But we also take our position as an international, nonpolitical, nonreligious organization seriously. To respect the global perspectives and experiences of our members, and to work most effectively in our peacebuilding efforts, we do not choose sides in conflicts.
It’s time for incoming district leaders to prepare for their terms. The first step is taking courses that will prepare them for their Club Leadership Learning Seminar in the spring.
Go to the course catalog for district leaders in the Learning Center to find the learning plan for each role.
This year, Rotary International President R. Gordon R. McInally is encouraging all members to support better mental health for each other and our communities in order to Create Hope in the World.
As people of action, our members are often exposed to difficult situations while doing humanitarian work.
Take the Resiliency course in the Learning Center and use its tips to promote a culture of care by leading discussions on mental health. You can also talk to members about how building resiliency can help them overcome stress or trauma.
We know you're planning to be in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for District Conference 2024, so we're giving you ten reasons to book that flight for sure!
