EnviroClub Awards
Overview
In keeping with the District focus on environmental sustainability, District Governor Leslie Ramdhanny, and Environmental Chair Matt Render encourage all Rotary, Rotaract and Interact clubs to apply for an EnviroClub Award.
The EnviroClub Awards programme is a progressive, criteria-based system, where a club first applies for a Bronze award, before progressing to Silver and finally Gold. Benefits include recognition of a club’s environmental activities, certification that can be used in the marketing of a club, increased engagement of current members, and enhanced appeal to prospective members. The programme is managed by the District Committee – applications are submitted to the Chair who reviews the submission with the rest of the Committee, and forwards to the District Governor for final sign-off. Qualifying Clubs will receive their awards at the District Conference.

Le programme EnviroClub Awards est un système progressif basé sur des critères, où un club postule d'abord pour un prix Bronze, avant de passer à Silver et enfin à Gold. Les avantages comprennent la reconnaissance des activités environnementales d'un club, une certification qui peut être utilisée dans le marketing d'un club, un engagement accru des membres actuels et un attrait accru pour les membres potentiels. Le programme est géré par le comité de district - les demandes sont soumises au président qui examine la candidature avec le reste du comité et la transmet au gouverneur de district pour approbation finale. Les clubs qualifiés recevront leurs récompenses lors de la conférence de district.
