CELEBRATING INTERNTIONAL DAY OF PEACE – Tuesday 21st September 2021 @ 6:00 p.m. AST.

Presenter: Reem Ghunaim (Rotary Peace Fellow & Positive Peace Activator)

On the International Day of Peace 300 Rotaractors & Interactors of District 7030 in the Caribbean are invited to engage in a workshop addressing cyberspace solutions to cyberspace issues including Cyber bullying and Cyber grooming. The workshop will also address the power that we all have to use technology in peacebuilding and to tackle issues within our community. Learn from experts in the field.

The 2021 theme for the International Day of Peace is “Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world” and the UN has invited us on this day to “Celebrate peace by standing up against acts of hate online and offline, and by spreading compassion, kindness, and hope in the face of the pandemic, and as we recover”.

In celebrating International Day of Peace and it’s theme we believe in your power as young persons in our District to bring about a sustainable and equitable world!

Join us on September 21st in a virtual gathering as we leverage the power of youth to create a sustainable and equitable world.

All Interactors and Rotaractors in District 7030 are invited to attend and participate

Rotarians and other guests wishing to observe the workshop need not register and may view the workshop via livestream on Facebook.

Célébration de la journée internationale pour la paix - Mardi 21 septembre 2021 @ 18h00 AST.

À l'occasion de la Journée internationale de la paix, 300 Rotaractiens et Interactiens du district 7030 des Caraïbes sont invités à participer à un atelier traitant des solutions numériques sur les questions telles que :
- La cyberintimidation, et le trolling et,

L’atelier portera également sur le pouvoir que chacun a d’utiliser la technologie pour construire la paix et pour résoudre des problèmes au sein de notre communauté. Apprenons des experts sur le terrain.

Le thème de la Journée internationale de la paix en 2021 est <<Mieux se relever pour un monde équitable et durable>> et l'ONU nous a invités en ce jour à <<célébrer la paix en s'élevant contre les actes de haine en ligne et hors ligne, et en répandant la compassion, la bonté et l'espoir face à la pandémie, et alors que nous nous remettons>>.

En célébrant une journée pour la paix et en particulier sur ce thème, nous croyons au pouvoir de la jeunesse au sein de notre district pour créer un monde durable et équitable.
